My Headshot

I’m Dónal O’Flynn, a young singer/actor living in Tramore Co. Waterford. I’ve been singing all my life and acting for the past few years.

Training

I attended the Richie Hayes Stage School in Waterford City for four years, training in Dance (with Erica Hayes and Megan Cassidy), Drama (with Michael Joseph [finalist on RTÉ's "Fame - The Musical"], Jenny Clooney, Liam Butler and Michael Power), Singing (with Deirdre Long) and Studio Recording (with Richie Hayes).

I have taken part in recording workshops at Claycastle Studios in Youghal Co. Cork.

Currently taking a break from performance to concentrate on the Leaving Cert.

Other

I’ve appeared on “ICE” on RTÉ 2 (February 2009).

I’ve performed on WLR FM to promote Fame and The Theatre Royal Variety Show.

I recorded an album entitled “The Magic Of Music” (unbelievably original I know!) with my friend David (Janurary 2010).

I’ve also performed in numerous more casual settings such as Talent Shows, Showcases, School Concerts, Functions etc.

I’m a volunteer with Stagecraft Musical Society in Tramore.
